8 Amazing Things God Has Done for Every Believer in Christ [Bible Studies]

The epistle of Ephesians is a majestic book that looks at what God has done in Christ and how we must live our lives to reflect our godly nature. This book, written by the Apostle Paul deals with God’s glorious work of salvation in chapter 1-3 and then turns its attention to how we must walk worthy of our calling in chapter 4-6. 

Today, I want us to briefly look at 6 profound spiritual things God our Father has done for us. After reading these, you are at liberty to burst out and shout hallelujah!

#1. God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3)

#2. God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4)

#3. God predestined us to adoption as sons by Christ Jesus to Him. (Ephesians 1:5)

#4. God made us acceptable in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:6)

#5. God has forgiven us our sins. (Ephesians 1:7)

#6. God’s grace abounds toward us. (Ephesians 1:7-8)

#7. God has made known to us the mystery of His will. (Ephesians 1:9)

#8. God has sealed us with the Holy Spirit of promise. (Ephesians 1:13)

Therefore, as Colossians says, we are complete in Him. Our salvation was planned and executed by God. It’s a glorious accomplishment which we can only praise God for. Thus, Paul started this section by saying ‘blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ’.

May His name alone be praised and magnified for His wondrous works in our lives.
