Grow In Grace By Learning Something New Today

Each day presents us with opportunities to learn and grow.

Will it be enough for a student to go through 4 years of university education and learn nothing? Certainly not! Mark the same way, it is not enough to go through a day in the university of life and learn nothing that will add value to your life.

At least, we must learn one new thing!

The prophet Jeremiah writing in the book of Lamentations 3:22-23 said that God’s mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness. Therefore, if we are not consumed because of His mercies, what can we learn about life and wisdom to live effectively?

There are numerous things we can learn each day. The list is endless! We can either learn at home, work or even online.

Here are few list of things we can learn in a day:

1. We can learn something new in the Bible by reading a passage or a chapter.

2. We can learn how to pray better by reading our Bible and studying it.

3. We can learn to teach by listening to faithful preachers rightly dividing the word of truth.

4. We can learn about what Bible prophesies are being fulfill by watching the news with Scriptural insights.

5. We can learn to forgive by knowing what the Bible says and acting on it.

6. We can learn to love by looking at the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ.

7. We can learn to share the gospel by at least sharing Scriptures on our social media platforms.

8. We can learn to be like Christ by knowing His commandments and doing them one at a time.

9. We can achieve our God-given plans by being consistent in our spiritual walk with the Lord.

10. We can glorify God by doing His will just now.

All I am saying is that each day presents us with opportunities to learn and grow in grave. Those who take advantage, grow, whereas those who remain passive, stagnate.
