The Making Of Man

In the 1920s, a brilliant scientist called Charles Darwin propounded the theory of evolution in which he said that man evolved from animals. This was to answer the question: who created man?

First, let me say that God is not against science. Indeed, if God created all men and all things, nothing like a genuine inquiry into how things came into being can be a threat to Him. But the science that is a threat to humanity and arrogant and proud cannot stand before God.

The Bible clearly teaches that man (male & female) was created by God in His own image and likeness. Genesis 2:7 says that, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being”. What sustains man is God. Whether you are believer or unbeliever, we live and move by His breath and not our own strength. His common grace abounds to us all.

A rejection of God’s creation of man spells doom for any person or group of people. If you say God didn’t create you, then you are god unto yourself and you make your own rules and live anyhow. This amounts to nihilism and makes you prone to walk in the corridors of hell when you are finally judged by God.
