This Bible…
In the hands of an atheist
He will rip its pages apart
He will use science and logic to disprove it
He will command his earthly wisdom to analyze it
He will argue against it and spit on it
He will say it is not true
Alas, he or she proves to be foolish according to the Bible
He takes personal counsel to say there is no God.
This Bible…
A slave trader will possess it
He will use it to advance his inhuman business
He will use it to enslave people and multreat them
He will use it to abuse people and lord it over them
He will create classes and social strata
Alas, he proves not to know God for He wishes that all will be brothers in Christ.
This Bible…
In the hands of a false prophet
He will mishandle every text and read meaning into every part
He will salts his speeches with the names of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit
He will pretend to know the Bible in order to deceive people
He is motivated by money and thinks of his belly
Alas, he proves by his deeds that he is not of Christ nor have eternal life.
This Bible…
In the hands of a true teacher or Christian
They grow therein
They read it, study it, and apply it
They behold wondrous things in it
They subject their will to it and walk in it
They see its power, might, and transforming effects
They shall be proved to be faithful servants who will rule over many territories with their Lord and King Jesus in the ages to come.
This Bible is the word of God for truly saved men to proclaim and live.
