During the RCCG International Youth Convention 2024, Pastor E. A. Adeboye emphasised the need for Christians to dominate through “violent giving.”
Citing Matthew 11:12, he remarked, “The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force,” urging believers to take charge through aggressive acts of faith, including praise and giving.
He drew parallels to how dominion is often achieved by force, likening it to the way Solomon gained favour with God through extravagant offerings. “Before Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings, nobody had gone beyond seven,” he explained, highlighting Solomon’s violent generosity that led to unprecedented blessings and peace.

Pastor Adeboye further shared a personal testimony of a businessman who gave 90% of his income to God and saw his company grow from a $500 investment to a $50 million turnover in five years.
He encouraged Christians to move beyond traditional tithing, advocating for radical, sacrificial giving. “It is wrong to limit you to 10%. 10% should be for beginners. You want to be on top? Your giving must be of the violent type.”
Adeboye concluded by calling on believers to give and praise God violently to dominate in every sphere of life, urging, “You want to be in charge? Give violently.”
