On Day 11 of the October 2024 Hallelujah Challenge, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, renowned Nigerian gospel musician and pastor, delivered a powerful message, urging believers to place their trust in God for great things and not to limit Him. With thousands of viewers tuned in, Bassey emphasised the limitless nature of God, encouraging participants to adopt a mindset of bold faith.
“Your God is the biggest; He’s the highest. He’s bigger than your mountains,” Bassey declared passionately. “How big is your God? Limitless. Unlimited.” He urged the audience to consider whatever difficulties they faced—whether financial, medical, or personal—as insignificant compared to God’s vast power. Drawing from the Bible, he reinforced this call to faith: “Who are thou, O great mountain? Standing before the root of heaven.”
Pastor Bassey cited Jeremiah 33:3 as a guiding scripture for the night: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things.” He stressed that it would be a “crime to ask Him for small things tonight,” encouraging viewers to let the Holy Spirit inspire grand, faith-filled requests. “Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations,” he said, adding, “Can somebody ask for nations tonight? Ask for cities.”

Highlighting the inheritance believers have in Christ, he referenced Genesis 12:2: “I will make of thee a great nation and make thy name great.” Bassey passionately reminded his listeners that they were called to be a blessing to the world. “No child of God in this kingdom is permitted to be ordinary,” he said. “The very least in this kingdom is greater than… all the guys we marvel at. He says the least in this kingdom is greater than John the Baptist.”
The message reached hundreds of thousands across various streaming platforms. Bassey reported that up to 230,000 people tuned in, testifying to the widespread reach of this virtual worship event. “Say there’s greatness in my DNA,” Bassey encouraged the crowd. “It says… ‘a little one shall become a thousand, a small one a strong nation.’”
In closing, Pastor Bassey stirred viewers to move forward in faith, declaring, “Tonight is a night of greatness… no matter how big that thing is, your God is bigger.” His final call was a rallying cry: “If God has ever put a picture of greatness in your mind, tonight you go for it… Can you believe God?” His words urged the faithful to stand firm in belief that, with God, nothing is impossible.
