ICGC New Wine Temple Unveils Unique Saturday Service for “Encounter” with Jesus

Rev. Albert Ocran, Senior Pastor of ICGC New Wine Temple, East Legon, has announced the launch of a transformative Saturday evening service focused on facilitating a unique encounter with Jesus Christ. Speaking during the 2024 CrossOver Service, he shared his vision for the initiative, which is set to bring congregants closer to God’s presence, power, and people in a remarkable way.

“The Lord laid on my heart a unique way of encountering His presence, connecting with His people, and experiencing His power,” Rev. Ocran declared. “That is why we have consecrated an entirely new Saturday evening service dedicated to just having an encounter with Jesus like we have never had before.”

The new service, themed “Encounter,” will debut this Saturday at 5 p.m. at the New Wine Temple and will continue every Saturday at the same time. Rev. Ocran extended an open invitation to all, emphasizing the casual and inclusive nature of the event.

“The good news is: come just as you are dressed,” he announced. “Whether you went to watch your football match and you are in your club’s jersey and you won or lost, still come with a jersey. From your funeral, come with a funeral cloth. From your boys’ boys’ khaki shorts conversation, still come. The most important reason is to meet Jesus.”

The service is designed to offer attendees deep worship, a powerful message, and an immersive spiritual experience. Rev. Ocran highlighted the congregation’s expectation of divine miracles and testimonies through these sessions.

“We are trusting God for miracles, trusting God for testimonies, trusting God that every single day we shall encounter Him,” he said passionately.

Rev. Ocran further assured congregants of the authenticity of the revelation, stating, “The word of the Lord that He placed on my heart when He gave the revelation about Encounter is that it shall be.”
