Pastor Foluke Adeboye Urges Believers to Stay in the Lord at 83 Hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise

1–2 minutes

At the 2025 edition of the 83 Hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise, Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adeboye, wife of Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), delivered a heartfelt message urging believers to remain steadfast in their faith. The event, held in honor of Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd birthday, served as a platform for deep spiritual reflections and divine worship.

Addressing the congregation, Pastor Foluke Adeboye passionately appealed to all present, emphasizing the importance of staying rooted in the Lord. “All I’m appealing, I’m telling you and I’m appealing to you, I’m telling you is that please stay in the Lord. Tell your neighbour, please stay in the Lord,” she urged.

She highlighted the eternal value of serving God, warning against distractions that could lead believers away from their faith. “It is good to serve the Lord. Don’t stray away. All other things you see, they are glided toys. They are not substance. Glided toys. They are not substance,” she declared, reinforcing the idea that material possessions and worldly attractions cannot compare to the riches found in God.

Encouraging patience and perseverance, she referenced the promises of God to those who remain faithful. “They can’t fetch you anything. It may take long, but they that wait upon the Lord, it will renew their strength. And at the end of the day, you will receive greater joy, greater peace, greater progress, greater success, assurance of a better future,” she assured.

Pastor Foluke Adeboye further pointed to the life of Pastor E. A. Adeboye as a testament to the rewards of unwavering faith. “All is in the life of the man of God we are celebrating today. So, in faith,” she concluded, encouraging believers to emulate his dedication and trust in God.

The 83 Hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise continues to be a powerful platform for spiritual revival and an avenue for celebrating the life and legacy of Pastor E. A. Adeboye through ceaseless praise and worship.
