At ICGC Christ Temple East, Pastor Mensa Otabil reminded believers that head knowledge of God is not enough — they must know Him personally.

Preaching from John 14, he highlighted Jesus’ promise: “No one comes to the Father except through me.”

“Christianity is not about knowing facts about God,” Pastor Otabil said. “It is about knowing God Himself — and that happens only through Jesus.”

He warned that many Christians settle for second hand faith. “Don’t let your relationship with God be based on your pastor’s faith or your parents’ faith. You must know Him for yourself.”

The General Overseer of ICGC urged the congregation to pursue intimacy with God. “God is not an abstract idea. He is a Father you can know.”

He closed with a powerful invitation: “Through Jesus, the way is open. Walk in it — and come to the Father.”
