Accra, June 15, 2025 — In a deeply moving Father’s Day message at ICGC Christ Temple East, Pastor Mensa Otabil took time to celebrate the strength, struggles, and silent sacrifices of men, reminding them of God’s unfailing love and reward.

Today we want to honour all the men for your sacrifices, for your love, for your great work,” Pastor Otabil began, addressing a packed auditorium on Sunday, June 15. His message struck a powerful chord as he acknowledged the increasing pressures men face in today’s world.

“To be a man is not easy,” he said. “Especially in these days where life demands so much from us… Some of you get up and you hustle, and sometimes you come home empty-handed—but you go back the next day because there are bills to pay and deadlines to meet.

With global tensions rising, including mention of recent conflict developments in the Middle East, Pastor Otabil urged fathers not to be overwhelmed by uncertainty but to lean on their Heavenly Father for strength and guidance.

If you’re struggling with your life and you don’t know what to do, just trust your Heavenly Father to take care of you.

He emphasized that even when earthly efforts go unnoticed, God is watching. “God sees what you do in secret, even if nobody else appreciates it—and He will reward you accordingly.

The heartfelt message closed with a warm blessing: “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers once more. Amen.
