Preaching to a massive crowd at Greater Works 2025, Pastor Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of ICGC, delivered a bold prophecy: “The works of Jesus will not just be repeated—they will be LOUDER!”
Drawing from the Greek word meizona (greater), Otabil explained that Jesus wasn’t promising different miracles, but an amplified scale of impact.
“Jesus healed in Galilee. You will heal in nations. What He did quietly, you will do loudly—because of His power, not your skill,” he said.
He shared how Jesus ministered within a limited region—comparing it humorously to someone moving only between Accra, Tema, and Kasoa. Yet today, believers preach across continents, even through online platforms.
“Some of you have preached to more people on TikTok than Jesus did in a crowd. Why? Because He said you would do greater works.”
Otabil clarified that greater doesn’t mean better than Jesus, but bigger in scale, reach, and expression. “What Jesus did for individuals, you will do for families, cities, nations, continents!”
The congregation responded with wild applause, many visibly moved by the thought that their calling had global implications.
One attendee remarked, “I used to think my impact was small—but now I realize I’m part of a louder move of God.”
Otabil ended with a reminder: “It’s not about your platform—it’s about the Amen, Amen of Jesus. That’s what makes the works louder.”
Indeed, the sound of Greater Works 2025 has just begun to rise.
