Introduction
Every year, thousands of believers from across Ghana and the world gather at the Greater Works Conference, hosted by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) under the leadership of Dr. Mensa and Mrs. Joy Otabil.
The 2025 edition, held from August 4th to 8th at ICGC Christ Temple East, Accra, was a five-day spiritual feast of worship, Word, and practical empowerment. From the early morning sessions to the vibrant evening gatherings, the conference was not just an event—it was a divine experience.
Here are six powerful lessons I gleaned from Greater Works 2025 that you can start applying in your spiritual life, ministry, career, or business today.
1. Consistency Produces Lasting Impact
Greater Works has run every year without fail—except during the global COVID-19 disruption—and continues to grow in influence. This consistency is intentional, not accidental.
In life, the fruit comes to those who “do not grow weary in doing good” (Galatians 6:9). Whether in prayer, Bible study, business, or relationships, consistency separates the dreamers from the achievers.
Takeaway: Keep showing up, even when results are slow. Faithfulness brings the harvest.

2. Order Creates an Environment for Blessing
From the parking to the seating, Greater Works 2025 reflected divine order. This mirrors God’s own nature—bringing form and structure to chaos (Genesis 1:1–3).
Bishop Tudor Bismark reminded us that God does not bless disorder. Even Jesus, when feeding the five thousand, asked the crowd to sit in groups before the miracle happened (Mark 6:39–40).
Takeaway: Structure your finances, relationships, and work. God works best in an atmosphere of order.

3. Excellence is Intentional, Not Accidental
Excellence is one of ICGC’s core values and it showed at every level—from music to media production. Months of preparation go into ensuring that each year is better than the last.
You can’t wish for excellence—you must work for it (Colossians 3:23).

4. Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit Brings Life
Beyond the lights and music, there was a tangible sense of God’s presence at Greater Works. Worship wasn’t entertainment; it was an encounter. The Spirit’s leading directed the flow of prayer, worship, and the Word.
Romans 8:14 says those led by the Spirit are God’s children. Sensitivity is the difference between routine and revival.
Takeaway: Learn to recognise and obey the Holy Spirit’s promptings in your daily life.

5. Stretch to the Next Level Every Year
Greater Works never stays the same. This year introduced a shuttle service and The Hive co-working space for attendees—a clear example of innovation in action.
This reflects the principle of going from “glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). Stagnation kills growth; progress demands stretching.
Takeaway: Each year, add something new to your personal life, ministry, or business. Aim higher than your last success.

6. Keep Christ at the Centre of Everything
The theme of Greater Works 2025 was centred on Jesus. Almost every message exalted Him—reminding us that all “works” must be rooted in Christ (Colossians 1:18).
Without Him, all our achievements are empty.
Takeaway: Check your motives often. Let Christ be the foundation and focus of every pursuit.
