— A Double Celebration of Ministry and Message at ICGC Christ Temple East
It was a day of divine joy and remarkable achievement on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as Pastor Eric Otchere was ordained into full ministerial status in the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) and celebrated the official launch of his two new books — Christian Maturing and Life in Christ.
The ordination ceremony, officiated by Rev. Dr. Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of ICGC, took place at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie–Accra, where 124 ministers were consecrated and charged to remain scripturally rooted in their service to God and humanity.
Immediately following the solemn ordination, family, friends, and ministers of the Gospel gathered at The Hive, also within Christ Temple East, for a beautiful Books Launch & Celebration to honour Pastor Otchere’s milestone.
In his heartfelt remarks before the unveiling, Rev. Samuel Awuku-Gyekye — Senior Pastor of ICGC The Royal Temple and Regional Overseer for the Central Region — commended Pastor Otchere for his commitment to speaking and writing for the Kingdom. He encouraged him to “keep up the good work of building lives through inspired words and faithful ministry.”
Rev. Ernest Obeng-Manful of ICGC Transformation Temple at Kasoa led a special prayer, asking for divine grace, focus, and fresh anointing upon the author to do even greater works for God.
The atmosphere at The Hive was filled with joy, gratitude, and worship as guests celebrated this “double blessing” — the birth of a new Reverend and the release of two transformative Christian books designed to strengthen believers’ faith.
