During the Thanksgiving and Dedication Service at the ICGC Transformation Temple in Kasoa on Friday 7th November 2025, Dr. Mensa Otabil delivered a stirring charge to believers and pastors — to restore the power of worship and the Word at the heart of church life.
“The presence of Jesus alone is sufficient to subdue demons,” he declared. “Praise and worship are not what we do to wait for the sermon; they enthrone Jesus in the house.”
He continued, “If you want the power of God manifested in your church, focus on praise, focus on worship, and focus on the Word. The power of God will be revealed.”
Quoting from Mark 5, he added, “The greatest transformation is not physical — it is mental. Jesus can take you from where you are and turn you into another person.”
Dr. Otabil concluded with a prophetic declaration: “In 2026, you will go around every month saying, ‘See what the Lord has done!’ because transformation will be your testimony.”
The service ended in jubilation as members and guests joined Rev. Ernest Obeng-Manful to celebrate God’s faithfulness and dedicate the newly restored temple.
