A timely new release, Effective Kingdom Workman Ii: 7 Qualities Of A Church Worker by Rev. Philip Adjei-Acquah, is generating renewed interest in what it means to serve God with excellence. The book identifies a major challenge in modern ministry: many Christians “are very zealous to work for God, but they end up becoming frustrated due to lack of skills, effectiveness and efficiency” because they haven’t been trained well enough for kingdom work.
Built on the strong foundation of 2 Timothy 2:1–24, the book explores the seven metaphors Paul used to describe the Christian worker—son, soldier, athlete, farmer, workman, vessel, and servant. Rev. Adjei-Acquah reminds believers that they are ambassadors of Christ expected to “do business till I come,” faithfully representing Christ on earth.
The book emphasizes spiritual growth, discipline, prayer, purity, and humility. One of its striking statements warns: “A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian,” stressing that deep fellowship with God is necessary for fruitful service. Through real-life ministry examples and Scripture, the author provides a blueprint for excellence for both clergy and laity.

To this end, Rev. Dr. Philip Adjei-Acquah will officially launch these three transformative books on Saturday, 6th December 2025, at 12 noon at the ICGC Greater Grace Temple, Bubiashie Control, Accra.
The launch will follow the Equipping the Saints Conference, scheduled for 3rd–5th December 2025, featuring Apostle Dr. Josiah Aubin Jnr. and Rev. Dr. Philip Adjei-Acquah as speakers.
