The opening night of the General Assembly with Koinonia on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, erupted into an unforgettable convergence of worship, prophetic utterance, and divine visitation. Thousands gathered onsite and online as Apostle Joshua Selman, host of Koinonia Global, welcomed worshippers into what he described as “a generational moment” orchestrated by God.
From the very first chant of “Miracles happen when You move,” the worship team set a spiritual tone that made it clear the night would be marked by encounters. The service opened with a powerful reading from Psalm 118:24 and Hebrews 12:22–24, followed by an electrifying proclamation: “You are in a place where there are innumerable company of angels… under this atmosphere the sick shall be healed, the bound shall be loosed, the oppressed shall be set free.”

Praise resounded through the stadium as the atmosphere thickened with prayer, worship, and prophetic declarations. At one moment, the minister announced, “This is no longer a stadium. This is Zion!”—and the crowd responded with a deafening roar of faith.
The night featured several testimonies, including that of a Ugandan pastor who shared how Koinonia’s teachings moved him from living in a kitchen with one pair of shoes to leading a thriving ministry with thousands in attendance. “My state didn’t change, but my mind changed,” he testified, stirring fresh faith across the arena.

The pinnacle of the night arrived when Pastor E. A. Adeboye, highly revered father in the faith, mounted the stage. With deep humility he said he had not come to preach but to give a Father’s Blessing. Stretching his hands over the stadium, he declared:
“The power to heal, the power to deliver, the power to make the barren fruitful, the power to raise the dead—receive tonight!”
Apostle Selman later led the congregation in sealing prayers, reminding worshippers that the General Assembly was designed for impartation, activation, and spiritual repositioning for the years ahead.
As worship continued with prophetic praise led by Minister Dunsin Oyekan, one truth became clear: Revival had begun—and the remaining days of the convention promise dimensions of glory yet unseen.
