Introduction: The Christian Life Is a Solution-Based Life
The Christian life is a solution-based life. Believers are not saved merely to be religious observers of a broken world, but to be spiritually relevant carriers of God’s life and power into real human situations. From the very beginning, Scripture reveals a God who confronts disorder with purpose and authority. In Genesis 1:2–3, God faced chaos, darkness, and emptiness, yet by His Word He brought order, beauty, and life. This pattern of divine intervention runs consistently through Scripture and finds its fullest expression in the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 4:23 tells us that Jesus went about teaching to renew minds, preaching the Kingdom to restore spiritual alignment, and healing every disease to provide practical solutions to human suffering. This same calling rests upon believers today, for Jesus declared that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13–14). Being born from above means being sent into the world as Christ was sent, to manifest God’s power where darkness persists. As Jesus said in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
When Life Demands What Is Inside You

The encounter at the Beautiful Gate in Acts 3:1–10 presents a man whose problem was both deep and complex. He was lame from birth, dependent on others for mobility, and forced to beg daily for survival. His condition was physical, economic, and social all at once, demonstrating how layered human challenges can be.
Scripture affirms that some problems exist not by chance but to reveal God’s works (John 9:1–3). While many people passed him daily with temporary solutions, such as alms, his situation required something greater—healing. Life has a way of demanding what God has placed inside His servants, often through persistent problems that refuse to disappear until divine purpose is released.
Facing the Problem With Clarity and Courage

Peter and John did not ignore the man’s condition or walk past it. Instead, Peter fixed his attention on him and commanded him to look up, establishing focus and expectation. Breakthrough often begins when problems are faced directly rather than avoided. God reassures His people that they need not fear when confronting challenges, because He is present to help (Isaiah 41:10).
Peter’s honesty about his limitations—“Silver and gold I do not have”—reveals maturity and self-awareness. Scripture teaches believers to think soberly about themselves (Romans 12:3), understanding both their boundaries and their calling. Yet Peter did not stop at what he lacked; he confidently released what he had, the powerful name of Jesus Christ.
Releasing What You Have and Acting in Faith

Empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and operating in the authority of the name above every name (Philippians 2:9–11), Peter took action. He reached out, lifted the man by the hand, and immediately strength came to his feet and ankles. Faith moved beyond words into action, and the result was visible transformation.
The man walked, leaped, and praised God, leaving no doubt that a notable miracle had taken place. When faith acts, God responds, and the outcome always brings glory to Him alone (Matthew 5:16; 1 Corinthians 10:31).
Conclusion: You Are God’s Answer

Believers are not empty; we carry something from God. As the light of the world and the salt of the earth, we are called to give what we have received. When we face problems with what God has placed inside us, heaven’s solutions manifest on earth.
As Habakkuk 2:14 declares, the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, and creation eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). You are God’s answer to someone’s problem—such as you have, give.
