“Planning Is Not Carnal—It Is the Mind of Christ” – Pastor Mensa Otabil

LOB News I http://www.livingourbible.com I Thursday 15th January 2026

Challenging the idea that spirituality excludes strategy, Pastor Mensa Otabil defended planning as a biblical and Christ-centred practice in an interview on the Christian Conversation podcast with host Rev. Albert Ocran.

When you have no respect for time, you have no respect for purpose,” he said, explaining that Jesus Himself worked with structure, seasons, and boundaries. According to him, equating disorder with spirituality is a misunderstanding of God’s nature.

He emphasized that churches, families, and organizations all thrive when forward thinking is embraced. “Planning, programming, working with time—these are not unspiritual. You can comfortably call this the mind of Christ,” he stated.

As believers enter 2026, Pastor Otabil encouraged measurable progress—growth that can be tracked, celebrated, and built upon. “Each day is a day of purpose. Let each week be purposeful,” he urged.
