At International Central Gospel Church Christ Temple East in Teshie, Mensa Otabil concluded his Kingdom series with a powerful declaration: “We are the temple.”

Preaching from John 14, he reminded congregants that the Kingdom of God is “the rule of God through his will, through his word, through his ways, and through his work.” Tracing God’s presence from Eden through altars, mountains, the tabernacle, and the temple, he said the ultimate fulfillment is now in believers.

Quoting Jesus’ words, he emphasized, “He dwells with you and will be in you,” explaining that Christianity has moved “from with to in.” He added, “The Holy Spirit will be in you… I will be in you… and you will be in me.”

The climax of the message focused on Christ’s death. “When Jesus died and cried, God says, ‘It is finished.’ The curtain is torn from top to bottom,” he declared. That moment, he explained, opened direct access to God.

“There is no man of God… who has more access to God than the average believer,” Otabil stressed. “Your access to God is the same as my access to God.”
