Renowned Ghanaian pastor and teacher Pastor Mensa Otabil has announced the upcoming release of his new book Leading the Church, generating excitement among pastors, ministry leaders, and believers across Ghana and beyond.
The announcement was made on social media on Monday, March 23, 2026, where Pastor Otabil revealed that the book will be officially launched during the highly anticipated Doulos Conference.
“I am pleased to announce that my new book, Leading the Church, will be officially released at the Doulos Conference,” he wrote.
Pastor Otabil explained that the book addresses the pressing need for strong, principled leadership within the Church in every generation. He emphasized that churches must continually rediscover how to lead with spiritual clarity, doctrinal soundness, and unwavering commitment to their divine mandate.
“In every generation, the Church must learn how to lead with clarity, conviction, and faithfulness to its divine mandate,” he stated.
According to him, the book reflects on how governance systems, leadership practices, and doctrinal foundations have shaped the Church throughout history, while also offering guidance for contemporary leaders seeking to steward the mission of the Church effectively today.
“This book reflects on how governance, leadership, and doctrine have shaped the Church across history, and how we can steward that responsibility today,” he added.
The Doulos Conference, aimed at equipping pastors, church leaders, and church workers, is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, March 24 to Thursday, March 26, 2026, at ICGC Christ Temple East. Conference sessions will run daily at 9:00 AM in the morning and 5:00 PM in the evening, providing participants with intensive teaching, leadership insights, and spiritual impartation.
Pastor Otabil concluded his announcement with anticipation for the gathering, writing, “I look forward to sharing this work with you at Doulos.”
The news has already sparked widespread interest among ministry practitioners and students of theology who are eager to engage with what many expect to be a timely and influential contribution to discussions on church governance and leadership.
