Doctrinal Statement

1. We believe in God the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ His only Son, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19, ESV)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” (John 14:26, ESV)

2. We believe in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross to redeem us from sin and grant us eternal life.

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” (Ephesians 1:7, ESV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, ESV)

3. We believe in the Bible as the whole counsel of God to provide instructions for daily living and overcoming spiritual battles.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV)
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105, ESV)

4. We believe that for Christians to grow spiritually, they must actively engage in spiritual disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, meditation, and fasting.

“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.” (1 Peter 2:2, ESV)
“Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17, ESV)
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2, ESV)
“When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.” (Matthew 6:16, ESV)

5. We believe that every Christian has spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities meant to serve the Lord and build up the body of Christ.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10, ESV)
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:4-5, ESV)

6. We believe that honest and diligent labor leads to fruitfulness and prosperity.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23, ESV)
“A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” (Proverbs 10:4, ESV)

7. We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, where He will judge the wicked, reward the righteous, and establish His eternal kingdom.

“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, ESV)
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.” (Revelation 22:12, ESV)
