Before everything it existed

Before the heavens

Before the earth

Before living and non-living things

Before humans ever appeared

The word of God existed.

It created everything

It brought forth living and non-living things

It made the heavens and the earth

It breath life into man to live

Nothing came into being without it.

It is powerful

It is living

It will not pass away

Though everything will

Every jot and tittle will be fulfilled

It fulfills whatever is sent for.

It is a command

It is creative

It is constant.

We must live it

We must read it

We must understand it

We must meditate on it

We must teach it

We must apply it

We must be changed by it

We must let it dwell in it richly.
