The Ultimate Gospel Extravaganza: ICGC Night of Choirs

Introduction

Prepare to be swept off your feet at the ICGC Night of Choirs, an epic night of great music and uplifting ministrations that you won’t want to miss.

This grand event, set for Sunday, July 21st, 2024, at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie, will feature a remarkable lineup of 14 choirs united under One Family (ICGC), creating a harmonious symphony that promises to uplift your spirit.

As we build up to the Greater Works Conference, this joint musical concert will showcase the Choirs and Song Ministers of ICGC in an unforgettable celebration of faith and unity.

Background

The ICGC Night of Choirs began in 2022, with the goal of creating momentum for the Greater Works Conference.

This Spirit-filled musical convocation is designed to give patrons a foretaste of the incredible experiences awaiting them during the five-day conference.

Over the years, it has featured ICGC recording artists such as Mary Ghansah, Celestine Donkor, Pastor Edwin Dadson, Perez Music, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Pastor Emmitt Jim Konadu, Sandra Huson Kelly, and many other well-known gospel musicians.

This event is a cherished evening of memorable music, born and bred in the womb of ICGC temples across Accra and beyond.

Experience and Expectation

Regular patrons and newcomers alike eagerly anticipate this event, flocking to the venue to worship, praise, dance, and enjoy the dramatic arts.

Eunice Tornyi, a music director, singer, and one of the past MCs at NOC, shared her experience from a past edition and her expectations for this year:

“I’ve been attending NOC since it began, and each time, it’s an unforgettable experience. A standout moment was in 2023 when Ejem’s powerful ministration moved me emotionally. The passionate testimonies and performances by various ICGC artists deeply touch my heart. The sense of community, with everyone singing, dancing, and worshipping together, creates a feeling of unity in faith and joy. The most unforgettable part is the soul-winning and total surrender to Jesus as the music flows, bringing a surge of peace and renewal from the Holy Spirit. This experience reassures me of God’s presence in my life and highlights the transformative power of gospel music and events.”

Eunice’s hopes for this year mirror those of many attendees:

“I hope to feel a sense of community and connection with fellow believers and music lovers while experiencing the diversity and richness of gospel music from different genres. I’m excited to discover new artists and music that will become part of my personal worship and devotion. I’m looking forward to an unforgettable experience that will stay with me long after the event is over.”
