Accra, Ghana – The closing night of the Greater Works 2025 Conference turned into a powerful prophetic moment as Pastor Mensa Otabil led thousands of worshippers in fervent prayer for Africa to rise and fulfil its divine mandate of “greater works.”

Speaking from John 14:12–14, Pastor Otabil charged the congregation to boldly “ask in Jesus’ name” for the continent’s transformation. “Whatever you demand in My name, I will do it,” he quoted, urging believers to apply this promise beyond personal needs to Africa’s destiny.

The service, held at ICGC Christ Temple East, was both a spiritual charge and a continental intercession. With thousands in attendance and many more joining online, Pastor Otabil declared, “Africa is not the tail — Africa will be the head. Africa will do greater works!”

He stressed that change will not come from passive wishing but from faith-filled declarations. “We are not asking God to do it for Africa as if it’s outside His will — we are demanding it because He has already said it,” he told the crowd.

In a wave of united prayer, believers called for breakthroughs in leadership, economic growth, and spiritual revival across African nations. Pastor Otabil’s final decree thundered through the auditorium: “In the name of Jesus, Africa will rise. Africa will prosper. Africa will glorify God!”

The anointing service ended with symbolic anointing for “greater works,” marking the conference’s close with a fresh charge to take Africa’s future in faith and prayer.
