In a powerful conclusion, Pastor Mensa Otabil challenged believers to rethink their motivation for following Christ.
“Are we just following Jesus for the crumbs… or we want to go up the mountain and learn from Him?” he asked.
Pastor Otabil pointed out that while Jesus performed miracles for the crowds, His focus with disciples was teaching and transformation.
“Those who followed Him, He taught them… not just healed them,” he explained.
He challenged believers with a difficult question: “If Jesus never did a miracle for you, would you still follow Him?”
The message emphasized that true Christianity is not about receiving benefits but embracing a new way of life shaped by Christ’s teachings.
Pastor Otabil urged believers to pursue deeper commitment, warning that staying at the level of miracles alone leads to shallow faith.
