Every meaningful achievement in life begins with boldness, according to Pastor Mensa Otabil, who has challenged Christians to confront fear and embrace courageous faith in pursuing God’s purpose.
Preaching at ICGC Christ Temple East during his message titled “Take Bold Steps – Part 2,” Pastor Otabil said boldness is not reserved for extraordinary moments but is essential for everyday living.
“Every significant endeavour that we undertake in life requires boldness. Everything important that we seek to do in life requires boldness.”
He explained that people need courage to face new days, pursue relationships, believe God for greater opportunities and even leave unhealthy situations.
“It takes boldness to believe God for big things. When God wants you to do big things, it’s going to take boldness for you to do it.”
Pastor Otabil also warned that fear keeps many believers trapped in lives they dislike because they worry excessively about public opinion.
“Many of us are stuck in limited lives because we are afraid… God will give us boldness to step out of limitation and into the life He truly wants us to live.”
He encouraged believers to trust God’s leading rather than allowing fear to determine their future, stressing that God’s plans often require courageous action before visible results appear.
