ACCRA, Ghana — The four regional mass choirs of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) captivated thousands of worshippers with vibrant performances during Night of Choirs 2026, transforming ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie-Accra, into an unforgettable celebration of faith, music, and excellence.
Held on Sunday, July 26, the annual event brought together the Accra South, Accra West, Accra East, and Accra North Regional Choirs, each presenting distinct musical styles that reflected the diversity and creativity of ICGC’s worship ministry. The evening formed part of preparations for the Greater Works Conference 2026, one of Africa’s largest Christian leadership gatherings.
The hosts noted that the choirs had rehearsed since May, highlighting months of dedication and teamwork that culminated in polished performances blending hymns, contemporary gospel, Afro-gospel, reggae, and urban praise. They praised the singers for sacrificing “night after night, day after day” to prepare for the annual celebration.
As each choir ministered, the congregation responded with enthusiastic singing, dancing, applause, and worship, creating an atmosphere that reflected both musical excellence and spiritual devotion. The performances showcased ICGC’s commitment to using music as a powerful tool for proclaiming the Christian faith and preparing believers for a deeper encounter with God.
The organisers described the programme as “a celebration of ICGC music” and encouraged participants worldwide to join Greater Works 2026, saying the evening offered only “a glimpse into what to expect.”
