LOB Team I Sermon Review I http://www.livingourbible.com
Introduction
On the final night of Greater Works 2025, Bishop Tudor Bismark of New Life Covenant Church, Zimbabwe, delivered a charged and faith-stirring message titled Go for It.
Drawing from 1 Samuel 14 and Isaiah 7, he declared that there are moments when God presents His people with a “blank check” anointing — a divine opportunity to ask and receive beyond imagination.
His central charge: don’t sit under the pomegranate tree and watch opportunities pass by — get up and go for it!
Key Highlights of the Sermon

- Jonathan’s Bold Move
Bishop Bismark opened with the story of Jonathan, son of Saul, who, unlike his hesitant father, refused to let fear dictate his actions. Quoting Jonathan’s words, “For there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few,” he reminded listeners that God can deliver regardless of numbers or resources. Jonathan’s willingness to climb towards the Philistines — even without full strength — illustrated faith in motion. - The Sign of God’s Favour
The preacher noted that Jonathan set a sign: if the Philistines invited them to “come up,” it would confirm God’s hand in the battle. When that exact phrase came, Jonathan acted immediately. “If you take one step towards God,” Bishop Bismark declared, “He will take steps towards you.” Small acts of faith can trigger supernatural intervention. - Seizing the Moment
Using King Saul as a contrast, Bishop Bismark explained that Saul sat under the pomegranate tree — a symbol of unseized potential — when he should have acted. “Don’t waste the seeds of opportunity,” he urged. Just as Jonathan pressed forward and fought, believers must act decisively when God opens a door. - The Blank Check Anointing
Transitioning to Isaiah 7, Bishop Bismark unpacked God’s invitation to King Ahaz: “Ask for anything… even the moon.” He called this a blank check — God’s open invitation to pray big, bold, and “extravagant” prayers. “Don’t be shy, don’t be in the corner — get up in God’s face,” he exhorted. - Going High and Going Deep
Bishop Bismark assured the congregation that no matter where the blessing is hidden — “in deep places or high places” — God knows where it is and can bring it to His children. He encouraged believers to go after their inheritance, family salvation, business breakthroughs, and prophetic promises with relentless faith. - Faith Meets Action
With the atmosphere electric, Bishop Bismark repeatedly led the crowd in declaring, “Go for it!” He emphasized that when believers put energy into their praise, prayer, and giving, God multiplies the result. The night ended with prophetic declarations and a call for bold, faith-filled action.
Conclusion

Bishop Tudor Bismark’s message was more than a sermon — it was a rallying cry. God’s “blank check” is in your hands, and now is the time to act. Don’t wait for perfect conditions; start climbing, swing your sword, and watch heaven back you up. As he declared, “Tonight’s your night… go for it!”
