Archbishop Charles Agyinasare has challenged modern Christian culture, warning believers not to reduce Christianity to emotional experiences and temporary encounters.
“Christianity is not merely about an emotional encounter… it is built on the unadulterated Word of God,” he declared.
Speaking at the Supernatural Empowerment Summit 2026, he stressed that faith must be grounded in truth, doctrine, and daily practice—not feelings.
“Christianity is founded on divine truth which must be understood, believed, and consistently practised,” he added.
The Archbishop explained that believers must understand core doctrines such as the life, death, resurrection, and intercession of Christ to build lasting faith.
“We must understand why He went to the cross… why He rose… and that He is making intercession for us,” he said.
He warned that reliance on emotional experiences alone leads to instability, especially in challenging times.
“If you are a doer of the Word… storms will come… but you will remain standing,” he affirmed.
The message has been widely described as a wake-up call for believers to return to Scripture-based Christianity.
