From Hotel Desk to Global Ministry: Rev. Dr. Christie Doe Tetteh Shares Remarkable Journey

LOB News I http://www.livingourbible.com I Sunday 3rd May 2026

The inspiring journey of Rev. Dr. Christie Doe Tetteh has once again captured attention after she recounted how a simple job at a hotel became the doorway to her global ministry.

Speaking on Footprints hosted by Mr. Samuel Attah-Mensah on Channel One TV, she revealed that her life changed dramatically after meeting Archbishop Benson Idahosa at Riviera Beach Hotel. “He invited me to the crusade… and that was the turning point of my life,” she said.

Despite her humble beginnings, including hawking bread and picking food scraps to survive, she remained unashamed. “I was not ashamed… I was at King’s College and still hawking bread,” she shared.

Her conversion story was equally unique. “I didn’t get saved because of the preaching… I got saved because of the Christy Sisters,” she explained, highlighting the power of music in her transformation.

After years of mentorship under Idahosa, she returned to Ghana and eventually founded Solid Rock Chapel International, which has impacted countless lives.

Her story continues to inspire many, proving that purpose can emerge from the most unlikely places.
