Renowned Ghanaian preacher urges believers to embrace the full benefits of redemption beyond forgiveness of sins
During the Miracle Service 2026 UK Edition, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams challenged Christians to rethink their understanding of salvation, arguing that many believers have reduced God’s redemptive plan to only the experience of being born again while neglecting the broader benefits secured through Christ’s finished work.
Addressing worshippers, the Archbishop stressed that salvation includes freedom from sin, sickness, poverty, and satanic oppression. According to him, many Christians continue to struggle unnecessarily because they are unaware of what Christ has already accomplished on their behalf.
“The experience of being born again is more than just being born again. There are things you need to understand,” he said. He further declared, “Salvation is not just being born again. It is more than being born again.”

Drawing from Romans 10 and other scriptures, Duncan-Williams explained that the biblical concept of salvation encompasses complete deliverance and restoration. He argued that believers often confess salvation but remain conscious of only one aspect of it.
The Archbishop emphasized that ignorance of spiritual inheritance remains one of the greatest challenges facing Christians today. He likened many believers to wealthy heirs living in poverty because they do not know what belongs to them.
Referring to Jesus’ declaration on the cross, he stated, “When Jesus said, ‘It is finished,’ the debt was paid. It was the final verdict of the Supreme Court of the Universe.”
The message resonated strongly with worshippers, many of whom viewed it as a call to embrace a deeper understanding of redemption and Christian identity.
