LAGOS, Nigeria — Pastor Sam Adeyemi has urged Christians to rethink their understanding of wealth, arguing that financial prosperity is created by solving problems and delivering value rather than simply pursuing money itself. During his teaching on flourishing financially, the renowned leadership expert explained that money follows value, making usefulness the true pathway to wealth.
“Money is only a means of exchange of value.”
Adeyemi emphasized that everyone who earns income does so because they provide something that meets another person’s need. Whether through products, services, expertise, or ideas, wealth flows toward value creation.
He challenged believers to examine every expense they have made over the past month, observing that every payment represented compensation for someone else’s solution to a problem. Therefore, Christians who desire financial increase must intentionally develop skills and services that improve people’s lives.
The Daystar Christian Centre pastor added that speaking in tongues alone does not create wealth unless believers also possess something valuable to offer society. While spiritual devotion remains essential, he insisted that practical competence and excellence are equally necessary for financial flourishing.
His message encourages Christians to become solution providers whose faith inspires innovation, productivity, and meaningful service to others.
